my name is chrissy

I’m a mixed media artist and graphic designer with an emphasis on illustration. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications and Design at UTA. I love to play with color, texture, and line and derive most of my work from nature. As a mixed media artist, I love trying new medias including ceramics, acrylics, and printmaking. Having my own small business has always been a dream of mine, in hopes to bring color and art into other people’s world. I joined the pop-up community in 2022 and have begun to see this dream bloom slowly but surely. Outside of mixed media, I do commissioned design work with some emphasis on illustration. I love challenging myself in art, creating visions for others, and spreading joy through art and color!

Commissioned design work suited for different aesthetics that took me out of my comfort zone.

Mixed media allows me to bring my creations to life whether it be on paper, canvas or clay. I find myself gravitated to acrylics and ceramics mostly, with the incorporation of other elements that tell a story. Preserved dried flowers, gold leaf, and modeling paste (used for texture) are a few of my favorites. Here you will see a collage of my favorite works filled with time, joy and creativity.

Joining the pop-up community was the best decision I ever made to push myself out of my comfort zone and let the world see what I have to offer!
